Hi, I’m Dexmond Osarobo, a comedian, writer and actor. I’m creating a 7-part stand-up series called Seven Deadly Sins. Each sin will have its own live show, which will be filmed and released for fans everywhere. Episode 1, PRIDE, has already been performed and filmed. It was powerful, but it cost a lot and almost broke me. Now the next sin is GREED. Instead of waiting for help to come from somewhere, I want you, the fans, to be the producers.
Why Crowdfunding?
Live comedy in Nigeria is hard to finance. Shooting it at a world-class level costs even more. But I believe our stories deserve to be told in the best way possible. By crowdfunding, we can make GREED not just a comedy show, but the first fan-funded Nigerian stand-up special.
Where the Money Goes
Every naira raised will go to: Venue and production costs, Camera crew and editing, Distribution so fans everywhere can watch and Fair pay for the artists involved
