Even though he shared uncomfortable truths, I appreciate how respectful Dexmond was about the issue. This is something most comedians don’t know how to do. This is an important conversation that needs to be had and putting in jokes is truly beautiful. The court jesters of old were truth tellers to kings. So comedians have always played an important role in society. And seeing someone so young put out a message this valid, I’m very proud.
